Delete Your Barcode X Account
If you signed in to Barcode X with Google or Apple, you can delete your account and the related cloud data directly in the App.
How to request deletion
- Open Barcode X and sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Open your account information and select Delete Account.
- Reauthenticate with your account provider when prompted, then confirm the deletion request.
What is deleted
The deletion request permanently deletes:
- your Firebase Authentication account for Barcode X;
- your membership account record, including your email address and display name;
- device-binding information associated with your account; and
- subscription entitlement records held by the Barcode X membership service.
What is not deleted automatically
Scan history, generated codes, and photos are stored only on your device. You can remove them in the App, clear the App's storage in device settings where supported, or uninstall the App.
Deleting an account does not cancel an active subscription or issue a refund. You must manage or cancel subscriptions through the purchasing store (Google Play or Apple Account subscription settings).
